Cryptocurrencies or digital currencies are the foundation of the new electronic payment system. They have similar properties to physical money (banknotes and coins), but allow money to be transferred instantly to another account, no matter where that account is located. Cryptocurrencies are digital monetary units that function as independent, decentralized, controlled, and cryptographically protected payment systems.
Cryptocurrencies are not issued or controlled by state central banks, such as the euro or the US dollar, but are generated exclusively digitally. There is no central operator that controls their creation.
Kriptomat is a device through which users can exchange cash for cryptocurrencies and vice versa. Kriptomat devices are located in multiple locations in Croatia, allowing you to buy and sell cryptocurrencies easily and securely. The devices support multilingual use and provide fast and high-quality customer support.

Kriptomat is a self-service device that allows you to buy or sell cryptocurrencies quickly and easily. To initiate a transaction, you need to enter a mobile phone number to which you will receive a one-time verification code. After entering the code on Kriptomat, you choose to buy or sell. The whole process takes approximately 2–3 minutes.
The purchase process itself takes 1-2 minutes, and the time it takes for the cryptocurrency to become visible on your crypto wallet depends on the blockchain network through which the transfer is carried out, the saturation of the network and the type of wallet from which it is sent. As a rule, this takes from 5 to 15 minutes, and in case of network congestion, it can take longer.

No. Kriptomat exclusively allows you to exchange cash for cryptocurrencies and vice versa.
No. Kriptomat does not currently allow legal entities to buy or sell cryptocurrencies.
No. In accordance with its internal rules, Kriptomat does not provide the service of buying and selling cryptocurrencies to politically exposed persons.
You can send cryptocurrencies from your own crypto wallet or from the platform where you hold your cryptocurrencies.

The company does not charge a separate commission for buying or selling cryptocurrencies. A margin is already included in the purchase and sale price, which makes up the final price of the transaction.

To buy or sell cryptocurrencies with Kriptomat, you need to enter your mobile phone number so that you can receive a verification password via SMS.

so that they can continue to use and place a transaction.
When buying, it is necessary to prepare banknotes in the euro currency and the address of the digital wallet
(wallet) in the form of a QR code, to which we will send you the purchased cryptocurrency.
When selling, you need to prepare a digital wallet on which you have
stored cryptocurrency and from which you will forward the cryptocurrency to the address and amount indicated
on a receipt issued on Kriptomat.
*Note – All transactions of €995 and above require registration on the device. This
the procedure works so that they can confirm your identity in accordance with the Anti-Washing Act
money and terrorist financing.
When selling cryptocurrencies, Kriptomat will print a receipt with the address to which the cryptocurrency needs to be sent.
The confirmation is time-limited and valid for 20 minutes. If you send cryptocurrency within this time, Kriptomat will pay you the amount stated on the receipt, regardless of any change in the market price.
Bitblock d.o.o. and Kriptomat.hr exclusively provide the service of buying and selling cryptocurrencies for funds and do not provide the service of storing or safeguarding cryptocurrencies.
The minimum purchase amount is EUR 20. The first banknote inserted must be at least EUR 20. After the first EUR 20 banknote, it is also possible to insert denominations of EUR 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500.
