It is the first investment fund to focus entirely on Bitcoin, acting like <strong data-start=\"434\" data-end=\"453\">a Bitcoin vault<\/strong> that offers its shareholders <strong data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"504\">regulated access<\/strong> to these digital assets. The idea is that each share of a company, once it goes public, represents a certain amount of Bitcoin owned by it.   <\/p><p data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"1085\">Behind this ambitious project is an impressive collaboration between three big players \u2013 <strong data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"772\"><a href=\"https:\/\/kriptomat.hr\/en\/what-is-tether-usdt-how-does-it-work\/\">Tether<\/a>, Bitfinex and SoftBank<\/strong>. As sister companies within the iFinex Group, Tether and Bitfinex together own <strong data-start=\"856\" data-end=\"872\">a 58.8% stake<\/strong>, while <strong data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"890\">SoftBank<\/strong> holds <strong data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"903\">24%.<\/strong> Among the co-founders stands out <strong data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"951\">Jack Mallers<\/strong>, CEO of Strike, who also takes on the role of CEO of the new company, describing it as <strong data-start=\"1053\" data-end=\"1082\">a &#8220;pure Bitcoin company&#8221;.<\/strong>  <\/p><p data-start=\"1087\" data-end=\"1475\">Twenty One Capital&#8217;s early steps have already shown the seriousness of their intentions \u2013 Bitfinex withdrew <strong data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1198\">7,000 BTC<\/strong> (worth about <strong data-start=\"1214\" data-end=\"1237\">$730 million<\/strong>) for the company&#8217;s needs, while Tether added <strong data-start=\"1281\" data-end=\"1295\">14,000 BTC<\/strong> and SoftBank invested <strong data-start=\"1315\" data-end=\"1329\">10,500 BTC<\/strong>. Tesla held over <strong data-start=\"276\" data-end=\"290\">40,000 BTC<\/strong> at one point, but this reserve was gradually reduced due to constant sales. <\/p><p data-start=\"354\" data-end=\"720\">Tesla&#8217;s first contact with Bitcoin dates back to <strong data-start=\"395\" data-end=\"412\">February 2021<\/strong>, when the company bought about <strong data-start=\"443\" data-end=\"457\">43,200 BTC<\/strong> worth $1.5 billion, immediately placing it among the largest corporate buyers of Bitcoin. At the time, Bitcoin was high on Tesla&#8217;s agenda \u2013 Elon Musk even included cryptocurrency in his X profile, and the company started accepting payments in Bitcoin. <\/p><p data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"1178\">But over time, Tesla sold some of its Bitcoins. The first sale was in <strong data-start=\"800\" data-end=\"816\">March 2021<\/strong> to test liquidity, and in <strong data-start=\"854\" data-end=\"877\">May of the same year<\/strong> , they stopped accepting Bitcoin payments due to <strong data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"951\">environmental concerns<\/strong>.
